Unprofessional company
Dear sir madam
I would like to inform you that I have evidence as a video which is already confirmed by your team at sixt croydon branch that I haven't done any of those damages mentioned your email below. I was so lucky to took the video prior to the rental. Also, it was shown to your team member before leaving the branch and it was confirmed that these damages didn't happen during my rental.
When I returned the van, I already proofed everything by my video which is already agreed by your team but unfortunately, I received an email about damage investigation after 3 weeks time. I am not sure what are you try to achieve by this email.
I m regular enterprise customer, it was a first time I rent van from sixt, but this was first and last time, I never rent any vehicle anymore from your company, what you are trying to do is unprofessional and unacceptable.
So, I would like to confirm that none of the damages were done by me during of my rental period time (03 July 2022 - 04 July 2022)
I do recommend doing investigations with your internal team prior to reaching out your client and causing further inconveniences.

Terrible company
Terrible company, I was overcharged by them and I have been contacting them to fix the issue. The responses received by them are so bizarre, and it takes so long, that it can only be a strategy to wear you down and not proceed with the claim.

Terrible servic, no recommendation
I was renting a van at Stratford Westfield. Terrible service and company. I do not recommend renting from them. The system does not work and we have been charged more and we have been waiting for a refund for over a month. We call and personally go to the rental point, but unfortunately the manager ignores us. The manager is not nice and constantly cheats that he will take care of our case. Unfortunately, the manager did not take care of anything. As I wrote, only ours cheats.

Rented a car from Sixt in Sardinia. Nice location, easy pick up and drop off.
My advice is to read everything you sign with these guys. I’m pretty sure I was offered a free upgrade but discovered later that it cost me 30% more! Trouble is you sign on a little iPad screen and don’t really know what you are signing you youvrely on thier honesty…. Which in my experience you can’t with these guys. On top of that they tried hard to sell me extra insurance…..which I didn’t need and I resisted…. Ended up costing over £1000 for a week! I want make the same mistake twice and will never rent a car from them again !

Horrible!!! avoid at all cost!!
I wish I read the reviews before renting from them. Same story, took money off my credit card without notice and only when questioned, claiming damage to the car. Despite providing evidence that the damage was there before they would not return money and stopped responding to emails. No phone number and no one to speak to. Horrible, horrible money making scam!!!
Last minute van hire from Sixt…
Last minute van hire from Sixt Birmingham a little while back. Staff were great support and friendly, Zaheer in particular was grear. Transaction was nice and easy. Only thing I would say it's its not clear online that your not covered for the extra insurance for damage, etc until we were told when we arrived there.
In 2016 I hired a car with SIXT still paying the bill
In 2016 I hired a car with SIXT. They had my address, email and driving license details. In April this year a debt collection agency contacted me pursuing a traffic violation administration fee. No help was provided by SIXT to understand why they had never contacted me or how to pay the original fine, they claimed they had tried to contact me. eCollect appeared to be a scamming agency and kept putting the payment amount up and also wouldn't provide any information to assist with paying the ticket. If SIXT had contacted me originally this could all have been avoided, they had the same email address that eCollect contacted me through. Instead four years after the event an admin fee for something as far as I am aware they didn't do has escalated in to nearly £200. I discussed this with a number of other people and they have had similar experiences with Italian SIXT agencies. Be aware that 'debts' such as these are hidden extras when hiring a car with SIXT and it is worth checking with them regularly after the rental has finished.

WARNING!
Paid a deposit of £824 in April.
Collected the car in May. Didn't have the credit card with me so was told that I would have to pay another deposit and the original payment would be returned to me within days.
Two months later the deposit hasn't been returned to me.
Spoke with staff who refused to accept that they owe me anything, repeatedly saying that it was an issue with my bank (no evidence to back this up). Told me to email instead, no response to emails.
Eventually had an email saying that the refund couldn't be processed due to a 'technical issue'.
Sixt then shad the cheek to email me stating that I owe them money for an unspecified 'traffic violation' incurred whilst leasing. No details provided about this though informed that I there would be more information coming about this (joy!)
I did not authorise them to take money from me, they tried to anyway which my bank suspected was fraudulent and caused my card to be cancelled.
Two months later still £800 out of pocket. Given up dealing with Sixt. Will leave it to the bank to deal with.

Sixt Dublin Airport
Sixt Dublin Airport. Dreadful. Rude, unhelpful and left me without a car on Christmas Eve despite me having the the paperwork to prove I had paid for one. So much for the Christmas spirit. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. (I wish I could give them 0 stars.)
Horrendous
Horrendous! Spent double the going rate in order to secure a convertible. They didn't have one in Frankfurt! Going on a road trip for 9 days and the only solution is to drive back to Frankfurt from our first stop Nuremberg tomorrow in order to get one. Getting one is not garunteed and will be a 4 hour round trip. No offers of compensation made. The customer advisor couldn't offer me a tangible discount as the supervisor wasn't there. Massively distributing and impacting the roadtrip we have had planned months in advance, have spent several thousands of pounds on, and was a once in a lifetime holiday. Appalled.

Awful !
Awful company, take ages to sort paperwork when you arrive. Charge your credit card with additional extras then when you query this they contradict themselves. Wanted to raise a complaint, they advise cannot be taken any further. Will never use again !
Total rip off
Booked a vehicle in Nuremburg Germany for 2 days and paid the total amount of euros 423.01 at the time of booking.
Received copy invoice a week later and they have taken euros 503.38 from my credit card.
Several e-mails exchanged since but they insist I upgraded, added SATNAV (which was originally included) and insurrance which I DID NOT.

Unfair cleaning cost
The car was good and almost new, if a little short on power. However we were barraged with all manner of options at the reception desk (in Fuerteventura) despite knowing what we wanted and had paid for. Having declined all of these extras and upgrades, we had a good week, but there was a small amount of sand in the car when we returned it. We didn't have a vacuum cleaner so I wanted to speak to reception about this, but their office was closed and locked despite being well within opening hours. On arrival back home they had charged around £35 for cleaning. I challenged this and they said it was for the sand, but I know from experience that with a vacuum cleaner this would have taken 2 minutes at very most to clean.
So beware, they give themselves a licence to take extra money from you. Next time we will look for a different and more reasonable provider.

Do not use. They have charged us twice and haven't returned our deposit but we cannot find any telephone number that works in order to sort it out. None of the contact numbers they give work or get answered. We will have to go to a branch and speak to somebody in person. I will never use them again.

Customer service is terrible charged me twice for things and near impossible to sort out as customer team is so bad steer clear . Also gave me a van that needed servicing then had to change half way through rental
